Description

A delicious and easy recipe for baked French toast that is perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  3. Arrange the bread slices in the baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring all slices are soaked.
