Description

A delightful Broccoli Salad packed with vibrant flavors and textures, featuring fresh broccoli, crispy bacon, and creamy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 6 slices smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Chop the fresh broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, crumbled bacon, red onion, and sliced almonds. Toss gently.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and stir gently to coat.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For better flavor, prepare a day ahead of time but add sliced almonds just before serving to maintain their crunch. Avoid boiling the broccoli to prevent mushiness.
