- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 slices thin-cut bacon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Blanch the green beans in boiling salted water for 2 to 3 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to stop cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar, garlic, chives (if using), and black pepper until smooth.
- Divide green beans into 6 portions, place each on a slice of bacon, spread cheese mixture over, and roll tightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk olive oil, brown sugar, and smoked paprika, then glaze each bundle.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes, broiling for an additional 1-2 minutes for extra crispness.
- Allow to cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.
