Description

A decadent cheesecake featuring rich chocolate and bright citrus flavors, topped with fresh orange slices.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 oz cream cheese (full-fat)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa)
  • Zest and juice of 2 large fresh oranges
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Create the filling: Beat the cream cheese on medium speed until smooth. Gradually mix in sugar, then add orange zest and juice.
  4. Melt dark chocolate and fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form and fold into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Garnish before serving with melted chocolate and fresh orange slices.
