- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until thoroughly browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Drain any excess fat.
- Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir until blended.
- Grease a baking dish and spread the beef mixture evenly across the bottom.
- Layer the drained corn on top, followed by a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
- Arrange tater tots over the cheese layer to cover it completely.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, swap ground beef for turkey or chicken. Customize with bell peppers or jalapeños.
