Description

A vibrant and flavorful salad combining sweet corn and crispy bacon with a creamy dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups sweet corn (fresh or frozen)
  • 6 strips of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sweet corn, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix gently.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the corn mixture and stir until well coated without over-mixing.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

Prepare the salad a day in advance for deeper flavors. Optional ingredients include diced bell peppers or chopped tomatoes.
