- 1 lb chicken breast, cooked and shredded
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken, cottage cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little cooking oil.
- Take a corn tortilla and fill it with the chicken and cottage cheese mixture.
- Fold the tortilla in half and place it in the skillet.
- Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining tortillas.
- Serve the tacos topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, and shredded cheese if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add your favorite taco sauce or salsa on top.
- These tacos can be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven for a quick meal.
