Description

A luscious low-carb take on traditional lasagna, featuring creamy cheese, savory ground turkey, and vibrant spinach.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Turkey or Chicken
  • 1 cup Alfredo Sauce
  • 15 ounces Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 large Egg
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Minced Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Minced Onion
  • 6 ounces Frozen Spinach
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ground turkey or chicken in a large skillet over medium heat until browned.
  3. Season the meat with dried garlic, dried onion, and salt.
  4. Mix the ricotta cheese, egg, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.
  5. Squeeze the thawed spinach to drain and fold it into the ricotta mixture.
  6. Layer Alfredo sauce, ground meat, ricotta-spinach mixture, and mozzarella in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  7. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.
  8. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  9. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For make-ahead, assemble the lasagna the night before and store in the fridge. Consider adding vegetables for extra nutrition.
