A delicious and easy-to-make casserole featuring tender potatoes, savory cheesesteak beef, and melted cheese, all cooked in a crockpot for a comforting dinner.

- 2 lbs potatoes, diced
- 1 lb beef steak, sliced thin
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Layer the diced potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot.
- In a skillet, brown the sliced beef with onions and bell peppers until cooked through.
- Add the beef mixture on top of the potatoes in the crockpot.
- Pour the beef broth over the mixture.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, black pepper, and salt over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the shredded cheddar cheese on top and cover until melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding Worcestershire sauce to the beef mixture.
- Feel free to use other types of cheese for a different taste.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
