A delightful fusion of Cuban sandwich flavors transformed into a comforting grilled cheese.
Ingredients

- 4 ounces roasted pork, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces deli ham, thinly sliced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 dill pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 4 slices crusty white or Cuban bread
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Warm the skillet or griddle over medium heat until evenly heated.
- Spread unsalted butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, spread one tablespoon of yellow mustard each.
- Layer two slices of Swiss cheese on each mustard-spread slice, followed by two ounces of ham, two ounces of roast pork, and two dill pickle slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side facing outward.
- Grill in the preheated skillet for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately.
Notes
Customize with jalapeños or roasted red peppers for added flavor.
