Description

Indulge in an exquisite filet mignon topped with a rich creamy mustard and parmesan sauce that elevates any dinner into a fine dining experience.


Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 pieces filet mignon (approximately 200g each)
  • 5060 g grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your skillet: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Prepare the steak: Take your filet mignon out of the fridge to reach room temperature and season liberally with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the meat: Cook the filets in the hot skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove the steak: Transfer the filets to a plate to rest.
  5. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  6. Incorporate the cream: Stir in the Dijon mustard and heavy cream, whisking until the sauce is smooth.
  7. Add the cheese: Sprinkle in the grated parmesan and stir until melted.
  8. Combine and serve: Return the filet mignon to the skillet, coat with sauce, and drizzle before serving.
