Description
Savor the rich flavors of garlic butter and perfectly seared steak bites paired with crunchy zucchini for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip)
- 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat dry the steak bites with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper on all sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Sear the steak bites in a single layer for 1-2 minutes without moving until they develop a golden-brown crust; flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove the steak and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add butter to the skillet, letting it melt before tossing in minced garlic. Cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the zucchini and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Combine the steak bites back into the skillet, tossing with the zucchini and garlic butter for 1-2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the steak ahead of time. Avoid overcrowding the skillet for perfect searing.
