Ingredients

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 fresh pineapple, cut into chunks
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Thread the shrimp and pineapple onto the skewers, alternating between them.
- Brush the skewers generously with the marinade.
- Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turns opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a moment. Serve warm.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute shrimp with chicken or firm tofu. Honey can be replaced with maple syrup for a vegan version.
