Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • 3.5 oz smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon capers (optional)
  • Fresh dill sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cucumber base: Rinse the cucumber, dry it, and slice it into 16 thick rounds (about 0.5 inches).
  2. Mix the cream cheese filling: In a bowl, combine cream cheese, dill, lemon juice, and black pepper; mix until smooth.
  3. Assemble the cream cheese topping: Place about 1 teaspoon of the mixture onto each cucumber round.
  4. Add the smoked salmon: Fold or roll the salmon and place it atop the cream cheese.
