Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  3. In a skillet, brown the meatballs over medium heat until cooked through.
  4. In a baking dish, spread half of the mashed potatoes on the bottom.
  5. Place the meatballs on top of the mashed potatoes.
  6. Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs.
  7. Spread the remaining mashed potatoes over the meatballs.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
