Description

Delightful muffins swirled with Nutella and made with ripe bananas, perfect for breakfast or snacks.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Nutella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and blend in the melted butter.
  3. Mix in baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate flour, mixing just until combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  6. Add a dollop of Nutella on top and gently swirl it into the batter.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Make these muffins in advance and freeze for up to 3 months. They can also be reheated in the microwave or oven.
