Description
Delightful muffins swirled with Nutella and made with ripe bananas, perfect for breakfast or snacks.
Ingredients

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas and blend in the melted butter.
- Mix in baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually incorporate flour, mixing just until combined.
- Spoon the batter into muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Add a dollop of Nutella on top and gently swirl it into the batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Make these muffins in advance and freeze for up to 3 months. They can also be reheated in the microwave or oven.
