- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Blue food coloring
- Red food coloring
- Optional toppings: Whipped cream and fresh berries
Instructions
- Whisk together the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until well combined and fluffy.
- Divide the mixture into two separate bowls.
- Add blue food coloring to one bowl and red food coloring to the other, stirring until the desired colors are achieved.
- Layer the blue and red ice cream mixtures alternately in a large container or loaf pan, swirling to create a patriotic effect.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 240 minutes or until firm.
- Scoop into bowls and top with optional whipped cream and berries.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with full-fat coconut milk. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
