- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup whole milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare a baking tray by lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder.
- Cut the cold butter into small cubes and incorporate it into the flour mixture using a pastry cutter or your fingertips.
- Fold in the finely grated Parmesan cheese and the minced garlic.
- Gradually pour in the whole milk, mixing gently until a soft dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and pat it into a 1-inch thick disk. Cut it into 6 equal wedges.
- Arrange the cut wedges on the prepared baking tray.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute with a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend. For dairy-free, use coconut oil and a non-dairy milk.
