Description

Delightful pastry bombs filled with spiced apples and drizzled with caramel, perfect for cozy gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pastry dough
  • 2 cups apples (peeled and diced)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • Ice cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon, cooking until tender (5-7 minutes).
  3. Roll out pastry dough and cut into 4-inch squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture and drizzle caramel in the center of each square.
  5. Fold over the pastry, sealing edges tightly.
  6. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, drizzled with caramel and optionally topped with ice cream.

Notes

Prepare the apple filling a day in advance for convenience. Consider using an air fryer for a crispier finish.
