Description

A comforting and flavorful slow-cooked chicken dish featuring tender chicken breasts and vibrant vegetables infused with sweet honey and savory garlic.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
  2. Place chicken breasts into the slow cooker and pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the chicken.
  3. Layer broccoli florets and sliced carrots on top of the chicken.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the vegetables.
  5. Secure the lid and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 3 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

Make the sauce and chop vegetables a day in advance for quicker preparation. If no slow cooker is available, you can cook in an oven-safe pot at 350°F for 30-40 minutes.
