Description

A luscious chocolate cake filled with creamy marshmallow fluff and drizzled with rich chocolate, reminiscent of summer campfire s’mores.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache (or melted chocolate)
  • Graham cracker crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven and roll the cake from one end to the other while it’s warm, allowing it to cool.
  8. Mix marshmallow fluff and heavy cream until smooth.
  9. Unroll the cooled cake and spread the marshmallow mixture evenly before rolling it back up tightly.
  10. Pour warm chocolate ganache over the cake and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before slicing.

Notes

For best results, allow the cake to cool completely before rolling to avoid tearing. Feel free to customize the flavors with spices or alternative fillings.
