Description

A delightful and moist bread that combines the sweetness of ripe strawberries and bananas, perfect for breakfast or as a dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash your ripe bananas until creamy.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  5. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and fold in gently.
  6. Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing until just incorporated.
  7. Fold in the chopped strawberries carefully.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 60-70 minutes until golden-brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let it cool before transferring to a wire rack.
