- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

- 1/2 cup strawberry jam

Instructions
- Activate the yeast by mixing warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar; let it sit until foamy (5-10 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and remaining sugar. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg; mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a greased bowl, covered, for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thick and cut out donuts. Allow to rest for 20-30 minutes while heating oil in a deep pan to 350-360°F (175-180°C). Fry donuts for 1.5-2 minutes per side until golden.
- For the filling, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth, then fold in strawberry jam.
- Prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Inject filling into warm donuts and dip or drizzle with glaze. Let glaze set for 15-20 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, consider using an air fryer. Refrigerate dough overnight for convenience.
