Description

A delightful dessert combining a crunchy pretzel crust, creamy filling, and fresh strawberries, perfect for summer gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 2 cups strawberries, sliced
  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled pretzel crust.
  4. Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Fold in sliced strawberries and let cool slightly.
  5. Pour gelatin mixture over cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Make-ahead tips: Can be made a day in advance for better flavor melding. Try using other fruits for variety.
