- 1 can of biscuit dough
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar for coating
- 1 tsp cinnamon for coating
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the diced apples, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon in a mixing bowl.
- Flatten a biscuit from the can using your hands or a rolling pin.
- Place a generous spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of the flattened biscuit.
- Fold the biscuit dough over the filling and seal tightly.
- Roll each filled biscuit in melted butter and coat in the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
- Arrange the bombs on a lined baking sheet apart from each other.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving warm.
Notes
Make-ahead: Prepare the apple filling a day in advance. Use an air fryer for a crispy outer layer.
