- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the biscuit mix and milk until a dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface until it reaches about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut it into squares, roughly 4-5 inches on each side.
- Combine the diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each dough square.
- Fold the dough over diagonally to form triangles and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with melted butter and egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.
