- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Toss in the onion and garlic, stirring until fragrant and translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in the cabbage, bell peppers, and carrots, cooking until tender yet crunchy, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and mix thoroughly. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
- Allow to cook together for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Prep vegetables a day in advance for quick cooking. Consider air frying for a different texture.
