Description

A vibrant and healthy dish featuring sautéed cabbage, beef, and colorful vegetables, bursting with flavors and nutrients.


Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  3. Toss in the onion and garlic, stirring until fragrant and translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cabbage, bell peppers, and carrots, cooking until tender yet crunchy, about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and mix thoroughly. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Allow to cook together for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Prep vegetables a day in advance for quick cooking. Consider air frying for a different texture.
