- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Season the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place the steak into the skillet, cooking for 4–5 minutes without moving.
- Flip the steak and continue cooking for an additional 4–5 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and let it rest.
- Add shrimp, diced bell pepper, and onion to the skillet. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until shrimp turn pink.
- Slice the rested steak into strips and return it to the skillet. Mix all the ingredients together.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let it melt for about 2 minutes.
- Serve the mixture over cooked rice or quinoa if desired.
Notes
