A delightful skillet bowl featuring tender steak, sweet shrimp, and gooey cheese, perfectly paired with colorful vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place the steak into the skillet, cooking for 4–5 minutes without moving.
  3. Flip the steak and continue cooking for an additional 4–5 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and let it rest.
  4. Add shrimp, diced bell pepper, and onion to the skillet. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until shrimp turn pink.
  5. Slice the rested steak into strips and return it to the skillet. Mix all the ingredients together.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let it melt for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve the mixture over cooked rice or quinoa if desired.

Notes

Customize the recipe by substituting shrimp with chicken or adding your favorite vegetables.
