Description

Delicious bite-sized treats filled with savory chili, hot dogs, and melted cheddar cheese, all wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough.

Ingredients

  • Hot Dogs (your choice)
  • Crescent Roll Dough
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Chili (store-bought or homemade)
  • Jalapeños (optional)
  • Olive Oil
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles.
  3. Place a small dollop of chili on the wide base of each triangle, followed by a slice of hot dog and cheddar cheese.
  4. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the sides.
  5. Arrange the rolled poppers on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  6. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden-brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can prepare these poppers up to 24 hours in advance and keep them in the fridge before baking. For a quicker option, cook in an air fryer for about 8-10 minutes.
