Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing fully, and then stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the creamed mixture, mixing gently until just combined.
- Divide the dough in half, adding red food coloring to one half and blue to the other, mixing until vibrant.
- Marble the colored doughs together by taking small pieces and gently swirling them without blending fully.
- Add chocolate chips and fold to distribute evenly throughout the dough.
- Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space in between.
