Instructions
- Slice the onion into petal-like cuts, stopping short of the root.
- Soak the onion in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the coating by mixing flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Dredge the onion in the flour mixture, ensuring all petals are coated.
- Double-Coat by dipping the onion back into the buttermilk and then dredging it in breadcrumbs.
- Spray the coated onion lightly with oil.
- Air Fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with your favorite creamy dip.
