- 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 Cup Corn Flour

- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
- Oil for Frying
Instructions
- Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, immerse the chicken drumsticks in buttermilk seasoned with salt and pepper. Cover and let it soak in the flavors for 3-4 hours or overnight for the best results.
- Prepare the Coating: In another bowl, combine all-purpose flour, corn flour, garlic powder, paprika, and baking powder. Whisk until evenly blended.
- Coat the Chicken: Allow excess buttermilk to drip off each drumstick and dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated.
- Heat the Oil: Pour oil into a deep fryer or heavy pot, heating it to about 350°F (175°C).
- Fry Until Golden Brown: Carefully lower a few pieces into the hot oil, cooking for about 12-15 minutes, flipping once, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Drain and Serve: Transfer to a wire rack to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
