Description

A comforting and hearty dish featuring layers of ravioli, meat sauce, and creamy cheeses, all cooked to perfection in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen ravioli
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef (or sausage)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper and drain excess grease.
  2. Layer half of the frozen ravioli in the slow cooker.
  3. Add half of the cooked meat sauce over the ravioli.
  4. Dollop half of the ricotta cheese on top of the sauce.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheeses over the ricotta.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  7. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your meal!

Notes

Prepare the layers a day in advance and store in the refrigerator, then cook on the day of serving. For a crispy top, broil after slow cooking.
