Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and salted caramel sauce.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to a week. Add nuts or different chocolates for variety.
