Description

A comforting one-pan meal combining ground beef, potatoes, and vibrant vegetables for a satisfying dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat your large skillet over medium heat and add in the ground beef. Cook until it turns golden brown, breaking it into smaller pieces.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Toss in the diced potatoes, stirring to combine. Let them cook for about 10 minutes until tender.
  4. Pour in the diced tomatoes and green bell pepper. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix and let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. If using cheese, sprinkle it over the top now and cover the skillet. Allow it to melt gently.
  6. Present your Hamburger Hash hot from the skillet, garnished with parsley.
