Description

A flavor-packed Harissa Chicken dish that transports you to North Africa with spicy and smoky aromas.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs or breasts
  • 3 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the harissa paste, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Coat the chicken pieces in the marinade, ensuring each piece is covered.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken on a baking sheet with a little space between pieces.
  5. Roast the chicken for 25-30 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve.

Notes

For better flavor absorption, marinate overnight if possible. You can also cook in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for a quicker option.
