- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Whisk together the honey, orange juice, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Position the spiral ham in a deep roasting pan with the cut side facing down.
- Brush the glaze all over the ham, covering every inch.
- Loosely cover the ham with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 1 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
Notes
Make the glaze a day ahead and store in the fridge for enhanced flavor. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
