Description

A juicy and flavorful honey glazed ham that transforms any meal into a festive celebration with its sweet and savory glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 spiral ham (bone-in)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Whisk together the honey, orange juice, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  3. Position the spiral ham in a deep roasting pan with the cut side facing down.
  4. Brush the glaze all over the ham, covering every inch.
  5. Loosely cover the ham with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake for 1 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.

Notes

Make the glaze a day ahead and store in the fridge for enhanced flavor. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 140°F (60°C).
