Description

Tender chicken drumsticks marinated in honey and soy sauce, roasted to perfection for a crispy exterior and juicy interior.


Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together honey, soy sauce, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place the chicken drumsticks in a large resealable bag or bowl, pour the marinade over, and coat well.
  4. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, letting it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for better flavor).
  5. Arrange the drumsticks on a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning halfway through, until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.

Notes

Letting the chicken marinate overnight enhances the flavors. For extra crispy skin, ensure the chicken is patted dry before marinating.
