Description

Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants, cut into pieces
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup cooked sausage or ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Gravy for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until combined and frothy.
  2. Grease your baking dish generously with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Spread the cut croissant pieces across the bottom of the dish.
  4. Add the diced sausage or ham over the croissants, followed by the chopped onions and bell peppers.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the fillings.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) the next morning.
