Description

A comforting and flavorful casserole made with sweet potatoes, butter, brown sugar, and crispy potato chips, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 4 large sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup potato chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and cube the sweet potatoes.
  3. Boil the sweet potatoes in a large pot for 20 minutes or until fork-tender.
  4. Mash the drained sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  5. Incorporate butter, brown sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon into the bowl.
  6. Transfer the sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Crush the potato chips and sprinkle over the casserole.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and golden brown.
  9. Serve warm as a delicious side dish.
