Ingredients

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the sourdough starter and warm water. Mix until a cohesive dough forms.
- Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Add olive oil and continue kneading for another 5 minutes.
- Shape the kneaded dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover it and let it rise for about 1-2 hours.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Cover the loaf pan with a towel and let it rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the loaf for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Make the dough the evening before for overnight rising; adjust baking time for smaller batches in an air fryer.
