Description

A classic dish featuring tender meatballs simmered in rich tomato sauce served over perfectly cooked spaghetti.


Ingredients

  • Spaghetti
  • Ground Beef
  • Bread Crumbs
  • Egg
  • Parsley
  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Canned Tomatoes
  • Tomato Paste
  • Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente.
  2. Prepare meatballs by mixing ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, parsley, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Brown the meatballs in a skillet with olive oil until golden on all sides.
  4. Prepare the sauce by combining canned tomatoes, tomato paste, and Italian seasoning in the same skillet.
  5. Simmer the meatballs in the sauce for about 20 minutes.
  6. Serve the meatballs and sauce over the drained spaghetti, garnishing as desired.

Notes

Meatballs can be made ahead of time and refrigerated or frozen for later use.
