Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  4. Stir in the pureed strawberries gently.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Chill the dough for 30 minutes for better texture, and ensure butter is softened to room temperature.
