- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, Italian seasoning, garlic, onion, milk, and egg in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Shape the meat mixture into a rectangle on parchment paper, leaving a space in the center for the mozzarella.
- Roll the meatloaf over the cheese, sealing the edges well.
- Place the rolled meatloaf in a baking dish and cover with marinara sauce.
- Bake for approximately 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Rest the meatloaf for a few minutes before slicing.
